My Work Experience POSTED BY KARAN BAROLIA, NOVEMBER 2017
For the past week I have been fortunate enough to take part in a work experience placement setup by Herschel Grammar School and Learning to Work. I have really enjoyed my time here doing work experience and have been given a taste of what working for a fast-growing business is really like. It has been very insightful, and it has shown me how a business is run.
When I was first told that I was working for Slough Aspire, I didn’t know what the company was and what they did. But after working there for the last week, I have realised that this company was an integral part of Slough allowing small businesses to get the recognition that they need and helping businesses in the local area network with each other.

My work experience at Slough Aspire POSTED BY DYLAN GILL, DATE: MAY 2016
This week I was honoured to work with Slough Aspire for my work experience. I gained a really good insight of working life and worked to deadlines which I am used to as it is similar on my IT course completing documents/assignments and further tasks. The staff I met at Aspire were real down to earth people who advised me and pushed me to go further in what I wanted to achieve.
We recently held a creative workshop at Aspire in Slough. The staff were extremely helpful, the facilities perfectly suited to our requirements, and the unusual space and layout (especially the trees!) was ideal for an engaging and productive day.
